Both Chattogram and Chittagong are names for the city that you may have run across while looking for a vacation to Chittagong. They are both names of the same city and can be used interchangeably, first things first! While it was governed by the British for hundreds of years, Bangladesh and Pakistan were both parts of India. The British gave the city the name Chittagong.

First, though, is it Chattogram or Chittagong?
