On November 6, 2022, the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination will start. The boards of education boards have made the exam schedule public on Monday, 12 September 2022.
The MCQ portion of the exam lasts for 20 minutes, while the creative writing portion lasts for 1 hour 40 minutes. The MCQ and creative parts of the exam won't be separated by a time break.
HSC and equivalent exams generally start in April of the year. But due to the COVID 19 infection, the curriculum has been running randomly for two and a half years. In this year public examinations such as SSC and HSC have been delayed due to floods in some areas of the country including Sylhet. Meanwhile, SSC and equivalent exams will start on September 15.

The HSC Exam schedule includes the schedules for the boards of Dhaka, Chittagong, Rajshahi, and Jessore. Rajsahi Board, Rajslt Board, Cumilla Board, and Dinajpur Board.

In November, the HSC and equivalent exams will start. The theory exam will begin on November 6 and end on December 13 according to the exam timetable. The practical test will follow.
The timetable includes 11 point special instructions from the education boards. Of these, the HSC exam, like the SSC, will begin at 11 am. Thirty minutes before to the start of the exam, candidates must take their seats in the examination room. A multiple-choice (MCQ) section will be included in the exam first, followed by a creative or composing section.
